Welcome to Mosier Community School!
Mosier Schools consist of two schools: Mosier Community School for grades Kindergarten to 6th grade and Mosier Middle School for grades 7 and 8th. Please follow the link for information about Mosier MIddle School.
Mosier Community School was developed by the community in 2003, as a charter school sponsored by North Wasco County School District. It is designed to serve the local students of the Mosier Valley primarily yet also offers available places to students in Wasco and Hood River counties. Mosier Schools are tuition free, public charter schools.
Mosier Schools operate under a charter agreement with NWCSD, which provides 83% of the funding from the State of Oregon. The remaining funds are raised by our parents, our community and supporters, and we rely on volunteer assistance to supplement and enhance our programs. We ask that families become an active part of their child's education by participating in the fundraising program and by volunteering at school.
Mosier Community School is committed to providing an education for students that has rigor, relationships and relevance at the heart of it, to allow each student to develop to his/her maximum potential and to become an outstanding citizen.
