Mosier Twin Tunnels Series - Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, Thanksgiving Day

12K and 5K Run/Walk on the Historic Columbia River Highway (7.4 or 3.1 mile) ) and Kid’s Fun Run
Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, Thanksgiving Day
9 am registration - 10 am Race

Proceeds will benefit Mosier Community School.

Getting There:
I-84 to Hood River, exit 64, turn South .2 miles (Hwy 35 direction) to the 4-way stop, turn left (East) onto Hwy 30. Up 1 mile to visitors station/parking area. $3 parking fee is required, unless you have a State Park Pass.

Course:
Out and back from the Hood River end of the Historic Columbia River Highway, starting at the HCRH Visitors Contact Station. Not a flat course. Moderate up first part of run, and a decent down-up for 12Ker’s at 3-4.5 mile section. The 12K turnaround is IN the Mosier Twin Tunnels. A decent down hill grade to the finish line. The trail is paved, no vehicular traffic. We do allow you to walk/run with your dog as long as they are on a leash. The trail will still be open to the general public, so pay attention to passing cyclists, etc.

Awards/Prizes:
Awards to age division winners, both runs. Random prize drawings included, must be present at the conclusion to win. $50 cash prize drawing to men and women division that complete 3 of the 4 Mosier Twin Tunnel Runs (includes Nov. Turkey Trot).
